Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for IT Sr. Developers in Atlanta, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software APIs and applications within our service recovery environment. Participate in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications. Analyze business requirements to provide the technical design of computer software. Use programming expertise in one of Deltas standard programming languages to develop and maintain computer software. Develop appropriate software and documentation according to Deltas standards. Support and troubleshoot computer systems, optimize performance, resolve problems, and provide timely follow-up on all problems. Follow Deltas standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software. Design and develop cloud-native applications, features, and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, highly efficient, supportable, and well-documented code for the full technological stack. Contribute to Agile development teams following 12-Factor application development principles. Analyze user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high-quality deliverables. Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per week. 5 domestic travel required.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of IT related work experience.
Must have experience in:
Four years working with Quicksight, Tableau, and Hyperion
Three years with AWS Cloud technologies
Writing and executing jobs with SQL and SAS
Agile principles and working in an Agile environment
Working with GLUE
Database design principles and structures to analyze and determine best structure
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Airline experience preferred
