What Youll Do:
Set the strategic direction for software development and testing, ensuring alignment with the companys overall vision.
Collaborate with product teams to plan and execute new features, products, and service offerings.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team across multiple locations.
Foster a positive and engaging team culture that promotes innovation and collaboration.
Oversee the entire software development lifecyclefrom design and development to testing, deployment, and security.
Develop strong relationships with customers to drive customer-centric solutions and influence future initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive engagement and success at the site level.
Effectively communicate across all levels of the company, bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Stay up to date with industry trends, AI advancements, and emerging tools in medical device software engineering.
Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements (including FDA guidelines for medical software).
Champion cybersecurity and privacy policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Manage team budgets, resources, and headcount to optimize performance and efficiency.
Promote diversity, inclusion, and professional growth within the organization.
What Youll Bring:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience developing complex software for medical devices.
5+ years of experience leading technical teams in software development and testing.
Strong background in agile methodologies (such as Scrum) and software lifecycle management.
Experience in cybersecurity, privacy policies, and software test automation.
Working knowledge of tools like Jama, Jira, and familiarity with IEC 62304 standards.
Experience in CUDA, OPENCL, Graphics card programming, and CT Imaging is a plus.
A proven track record of launching and maintaining medical device software.
Passion for Electrophysiology, clinical workflows, and enhancing user experience.
Ability to lead multi-site teams and collaborate across different locations.
