About the position

The Personal Banker I at Great Southern Bank is responsible for achieving sales goals, providing exceptional customer service, and developing strong customer relationships. This entry-level position focuses on meeting production goals, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and maintaining a high standard of customer interaction.

Responsibilities
• Implement and administer procedures to attain established performance goals set forth by Management.
,
• Develop customer relationships by identifying needs and making appropriate recommendations for products and/or services.
,
• Provide professional, courteous service to all customers including opening new accounts and processing loan requests.
,
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of and ensure full compliance with all applicable banking regulations.
,
• Perform new account opening with minimal errors.
,
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
,
• 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training
,
• At least one year of sales/customer service experience preferred
,
• Prior banking experience is preferred
,
• Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and word processing
