Healthcare Attorney (NJ barred only - Remote / *Part-Time*)
Posted 2025-05-15We are offering a FULLY REMOTE, part-time, contract/project work opportunity for a NJ-barred Attorney/Lawyer in the Healthcare sector, with our client, a major healthcare insurance provider (headquartered in Newark, NJ). This role will be remote and part-time (20 hours per week, during business / EST hours only), focusing on Healthcare Law, including Medicaid and Medicare Law. You will work alongside our clinical team and assist with administrative hearings, witness testimonies, cross-examinations, and exhibit submissions.
Responsibilities:
Assist with administrative hearings in collaboration with the clinical team
Handle witness testimonies and cross-examinations
Submit exhibits during administrative hearings
Practice and uphold Healthcare Law, with a focus on Medicaid and Medicare Law
Manage documents related to client cases
Handle civil litigation and claim administration
Address and resolve complaints in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain licensure as an Attorney in good standing
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Manage healthcare reimbursements and provider relations.

REQUIRED / IDEAL SKILLSET

APPLICATION TO NJ Bar / active NJ Attorney licensure
Must have strong skills in Fair Hearings
Proficiency in Civil Litigation is required
Experience in Claim Administration is essential
Must be adept at Complaint Handling
Should be comfortable conducting and participating in Hearings
Must be a Licensed Attorney
Knowledge of HealthCare Reimbursement is a must
Familiarity with Healthcare regulations is required
Experience working with HealthCare Providers is necessary
Compensation
$65.00-$70.00 Hourly
