As the Strategic Account Manager, you will serve as an advocate and provide pro-active data analysis and consultative services in support of key strategic Clients. Account Managers ensure assigned Clients are completely satisfied with CEI business outcomes and are highly pro-active in identifying and presenting well-thought out recommendations while promptly resolving any exceptions.
A Day in the Life
Collaborate with CEI sales/service teams to retain and expand Client business
Responsible for facilitating Client meetings/visits and formally presenting analytical and consultative data focusing on the CEI value proposition
Establish and foster deep Client relationships to create a dependency based on credibility, trust, pro-active communication, and respect
Work with Client representative(s) to develop targeted accident and risk management policies to ensure the desired program outcomes are delivered and optimized
Guide Clients to implement best practices and customized solutions based on the intricacies of each Clients business, fleet program and policy needs in conjunction with CEIs Implementation Team
Perform a comprehensive review of each Clients accident and risk / safety data and provide well-thought-out recommendations to improve Client program outcomes
Pro-actively consult with the Client to quantitatively and qualitatively demonstrate the CEI value proposition along with actual cost savings and related mitigation of Corporate risk and liability
Monitor our companys performance vs. contracted performance guarantee(s) (if applicable on a per Client basis) and escalate to required product owners and confirm corrective action(s) are implemented
Monitor and immediately act upon and escalate Early Warning Systems to minimize the risk of potential Client dissatisfaction or servicing issues
Serve as the Client Advocate in support of material escalations ensuring timely resolution
Provide voice-of-the-customer feedback to influence product refinement and development
Develop Clients business review requirements, frequency and performance standards relative to their business needs and desired outcomes
Ensure reviews are scheduled through proper internal channels six (6) weeks prior to the scheduled date
Develop Client specific statistical tracking and benchmarking
Ensure reports are delivered on the clients needed cadence and delivery method
Train contacts to use CEIs collision and safety customer facing applications
Track utilization and report monthly in the following areas to maximize revenue opportunities
Participate in projects as needed based on Client initiatives fostered through analysis of data
Actively monitor industry changes and build knowledge in fleet trends, safety, insurance industry and competitor information to provide consultative reference point for clients
Requirements
Bachelors degree in in a relevant discipline (Sales, Communications, etc.) preferred
5+ years experience required
Experience using Excel, data mining software
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends
Extensive, accurate product knowledge
