Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The SDR will play a crucial role in follow up of inbound leads, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the initial lead to opportunity pipeline. Responsibilities
Contact and qualify potential customers through calls, texts, and emails
Set appointments and follow up on leads
Track progress towards meeting sales goals
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
Use Salesforce and sales outreach tools to manage leads and sales activities
Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management
Report on lessons learned and be adaptable to try new approaches
Requirements
5+ years of experience in sales or customer service
Must be located in eastern time zone (can work remote)
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) and/or sales outreach software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to change
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business or related field
Previous success in a sales development representative role
Involvement with a school PTA or PTO as a board member or active parent member, a plus
